In contrast to a musician’s flat, where the symbol lowers the note by half step, I must say ladies’ flats speed up walking by two full steps.
I have always been a fan of flats. It must have been because I am one of those people whom Sadie Frost had in mind, when she said,
“I always wear flat shoes, because I can’t walk in anything else.”
Everything is a breeze when I wear my flats, especially those ballet flats.
I have walked in these:
The yellow-beige hilton flat ballerina by Grendha . They comfortably hug my feet. They also add glamor to any drab looking attire I have.
The silver snake skin ballet flats by Steve Madden is one of my favorites. And just like my other Steve Maddens, they have served me well. They somehow also, compliment my feet.
The tan tumbled leather reva by Tory Burch gets only comfortable after many “wears”. I first had to use skin toned foot socks before I could wear them, without my feet feeling sore. But when I could freely do so, I happily indulged in its elegance & lightness.
The giraffe print ballet flats by the local brand Sole Sister is one of my footwear staples. Quite a pretty sight to behold without compromising comfort. I bought mine from one of those fashion bazaars held at The World Trade Center in Pasay City.
I once flipped through some glossy magazines and I saw celebrities like Jessica Alba, Anne Hathaway and Ashley Greene wearing those really nice and comfortable looking flats :
It is wearing shoes without even feeling that you are.
Barefoot.
They only do not look nice , but they also feel nice.
You can stow them away in your car or bag, for they do not only come in a box but also in a pouch:
The nude samara snake ballet flats :
The blue samara mosaic ballet flats:
And without even being a prima ballerina assoluta, I pirouette.:)
