Ice cream enthusiasts would most likely know, what liquid nitrogen ice cream is.
Few ice cream parlors of this kind, have already opened in Manila.
But it was my first time to try one, with Kool Kids Ice Cream and Co. at the SM Megamall.
( Kool KIds is on the fifth floor of the Mega Fashion Hall, on the right side of the SM skating rink)

But what really is liquid nitrogen ice cream?
Miguel Aranaz of Kool Kids Ice Cream and Co. at the SM Megamall, talks about it, to us, mommies:
Ordinarily, when creating ice cream, ice crystals tend to form. It is because, the freezing process is too slow.
As a result, the ice cream is uneven, in terms of texture and composition.
According to Miguel Aranaz, this is not what ‘indulgence in ice cream” is all about.
Every ice cream experience should be fluid and easy.
Liquid nitrogen leads to a faster freezing process.
Therefore, there is little or no time at all, for the appearance of these so called, ice crystals.
Ice cream made through liquid nitrogen is smooth to the palette, like how ice cream should be enjoyed.
