It is through the trivialities in our lives, as moms and wives that we find treasure, more precious than gold and silver.
It is in the day-to-day existence that we discover our true-selves and how great “a gift” we are, to those around us. It is in the mundane that we see our extraordinariness, our super powers and our abilities to control the destiny of others.
It is us, wives, moms, directors of operations and super-heroines, alike.
April 29, 2014, was the press launch for the candidates for Mrs. Philippines-Globe at SM AURA.
Never had I seen, so many beautiful women together, in one afternoon.
The beautiful candidates showed off grace, radiance and confidence befitting of the queen-ship in the kingdoms, called “family” and “country”.
It was an uplifting event, seeing all those beautiful women on stage, armed with the maturity, experience and wisdom, of a wife and a mother. I admire their courage and committment, in joining the prestigious competition.
This year’s pageant is composed of women, coming from different fields of expertise: hotel and restaurant, the academe, speech and language pathology, real estate, dentistry, pediatrics, among others.
I salute these women, as they continue to juggle, life, beauty, glamor, work, courage, home-life, children and self-worth, positively. With my mommy hat and wife hat, I am “hats off “ to these women.
These beautiful women will compete, for the coveted crown on national pageant night,
on May 17, 2014 at SMX Aura Premiere, in Bonifacio Global City.
The winning candidate will represent the Philippines, in the Mrs. Globe 2015 World Finals at Shenzhen, China in November.
A timely event for mother’s day celebration, let us support these moms, of Mrs. Philippines-Globe.
Mrs. Philippines-Globe is a platform to empower married women of substance and single mothers as movers of society.
Mrs. Philippines-Globe is the local franchise of Mrs. Globe USA, an organization strongly affiliated with The Women In Need Foundation, which aims to help abused women and children recover their self-esteem. “The pageant emphasizes that women have the right to be heard, loved and respected.”
