Oedo Japanese Restaurant

Oedo Japanese Restaurant is along Sto. Domingo street in Quezon City. The restaurant is within a stone’s throw from Sienna College. It is exclusively located in a non-commercial area—away from any other restaurants or shops. It is mostly surrounded with residential houses.

Therefore, going there means having to visit the place on purpose —like having to satisfy a craving, for Japanese food.

The resto serves authentic and palatable Japanese cuisine, so it is worth the visit.

The ambiance contributes to the entire modern Japanese dining experience—clean, simple, light and tasty. Its interiors have a modern minimalistic appeal. Its exterior maintains a traditional setting -with street lantern decorations. While service is handled by a gracious and efficient staff.

It is their delectable cooking that brings us back to the place.

My family and I are frequent visitors of Oedo Japanese Restaurant along Sto. Domingo Street in Quezon City.

We have tried some of their dishes like: the Katsudon (deep-fried pork cutlet) , the Tori Kawa ( grilled skewered chicken skin) and the Okonomi Yaki (Japanese savory pancake).

But we have our favorites:

California Maki

I love sushi rolls and California maki —anywhere and anytime. But Oedo serves theirs with a very tasty nori, (seaweed).

I am a now a fan of their California Maki.

Ebi Tempura

My son and I enjoyed chewing, on Oedo’s crunchy deep-fried tiger prawns dipped in a light batter.

Asari Butter Yaki

Oedo kept the presentation of this ambrosial dish simple. But there is always this distinctive aroma of stir fried clams in butter that makes ones mouth water. And yes, it is as sumptuous as it looks and smell.

Gyu Teppanyaki

This beef teppanyaki dish consists of succulent pieces of beef served with sweet and flavorsome vegetables. The meat’s texture is just right to the bite and juicy as well, making it a very delicious and appetizing dish.
